Abstract

Synthetic biology is a new science that combines biology, engineering, and genomics. It has resulted in significant advancements in the field of genetic engineering. Synthetic biology is changing the way personalized medicine is practiced by making it possible to construct new biological systems and species. This research looks at the ways in which synthetic biology and genomics come together to develop medical therapies that are more accurate and tailored to the individual. The ability to change genomes at a granular level, along with modern techniques such as CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing and genome synthesis, has provided formidable tools for generating tailored therapeutics. This article examines how synthetic biology can be used in personalized medicine. It specifically looks at the development of customized treatments, gene therapies, synthetic vaccinations, and diagnostic systems. We also discuss the ethical, regulatory, and safety issues related to these technologies, as well as their promise for the future.
